4 Roll 4R HMS Features & Design
o INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY on repetitive jobs with shorter cycle times
o ENHANCE SAFETY with the plate being pinched between rollers at most times
o REDUCE MATERIAL HANDLING by flat feeding of sheet into the machine
o REDUCE FITUP as it is generally easier to produce shorter leading & trailing flats
DRIVE SYSTEM:
o Top & Pinch Rolls Driven by electric drive motor coupled with planetary speed reducer unit
with pinch roll using cardanic shaft final drive for lower maintenance.
OPERATION & CONSTRUCTION:
o Direct Thrust Roll Movements eliminate swing arms and deliver power direct to the rolls
o Hydraulic Drop End with long opening stroke and heavy yoke, operated from control desk
o Hydraulic volumetric Parallelism System on rolls for instant, continuous parallelism operated
from control desk without use of mechanical moving parts or torsion bars, maintenance free
o Hydraulic Cone Tilting of lateral rolls from console, no manual cams/jacks, maintenance free
o Pinch Pressure Regulation, allows operator to compensate for various sheet thickness
